Walk21 Initiatives and Current Global Dynamics in the Walking Movement

​PedBikeTrans was thrilled to host Jim Walker (Founder and Strategic Director) and Bronwen Thornton (Development Director) of Walk21.

 

They delivered an interesting and entertaining presentation on current global dynamics in the walking movement, the impact of the United Nations' New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, new initiatives in South America, and ways to secure funding for walking projects. They also shared some insights on the new Walk21 Foundation and on the exciting work being undertaken by Outdoor Trust. The event concluded with an interactive and engaging Q&A/discussion time.
